Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo Tag Team Tourney

There’s still a little bit of new stuff happening in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and the previously-announced amiibo Tag Team Tourney is now beginning this week.

Players will be able to summon an FP from its amiibo and team up with it during the time-limited Team Battle tourney. By working together with their FP, they can come out on top.

Keep in mind that you can’t team up with other players. Also, this going without saying, but you’ll need an amiibo to participate. The rules are based on a 2:30 time limit with items and the Final Smash Meter turned on.

The Smash Bros. Ultimate amiibo Tag Team Tourney starts on March 1, 2024. It will last until March 6. If you’ll be participating, let us know in the comments.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also recently received new spirits. These include Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, Hades, Power Pros., and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
