Some real site updates
We haven’t had a “real” site update in awhile, so I thought this would be the perfect day to fill you all in regards to what we have planned for the next few weeks/what’s been going on.
There are a few things that you’ll be able to see on the site today. Another review from Austin will be going up as well as the first of my “Rambling thoughts” articles. Like the name implies, I’ll be discussing (or rambling on) about a particular topic relating to video games. It may be related to a specific game, a genre, anything video game related really…Whatever is on my mind!
There haven’t been any 3D images on the site in awhile, but that will change next week. They can sometimes take a considerable amount of time to produce, hence why it’s taken so long for a new batch to be finished. Expect to see them sometime next weekend.
I also wanted to take this time to fill you in on our forum. Admittedly, I’ve done a horrendous job of promoting the forums and getting the word out there that they actually exist. As a result, they’ve pretty much suffered. However, over the past few days, there’s been some nice discussions taking place and some new members have been participating. So, I encourage anyone who’s interested in signing up to head on over to the forums. And our very own Austin wrote his own little blurb about the forums as well:
Since its conception, Nintendo Everything has had a community backing it every step of the way, and it’s always drawing in new people who are looking for the most up-to-date Nintendo news on the internet. With such a community comes the desire for people to connect and forge stronger relationships with one-another in order to have a more entertaining and helpful experience with the site. What is surprising to see then is that a site with a large viewership has such an inactive forum. As a result, the administration at NE (meaning Valay) feels it is necessary to inform you – the faithful visitors of Nintendo Everything – that there is a free, easily joinable forum for all of you to enjoy. The free Virtual Console/WiiWare game contest brought more comments to the articles themselves, now let’s bring those comments into an organized fashion by becoming members of the NE forum.
Hope to see you all there!

Before this post becomes too long, I’d like to mention that if any of you have any comments/questions/concerns/news tips, run on over to our Contact Form to send us an email. I’ve been a bit slow with responding lately since a bunch of things have been going on, but I’ll try to do a better job with emails now. Any feedback that you guys have is really appreciated.
Thanks folks, and look out for some new content later today.
