Splatoon 3 + Expansion Pass boxed release announced for Japan
June 19: Nintendo has announced a new boxed release for Splatoon 3 in Japan, specifically titled Splatoon 3 + Expansion Pass. It will be available on July 18, 2024.
The main game and all DLC content will be included. Additionally, a three-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is packed in, which is needed for online play.
The Expansion Pass previously released in two waves. In the first one, Inkopolis Plaza from the original Splatoon made a return. Side Order is the main highlight though, and that’s a brand-new single-player campaign featuring the Octoling Agent A, who must climb their way up the Spire of Order. Fans can also see what became of Inkopolis Square from Splatoon 2.
Splatoon 3 is currently available for Switch. Read more about the game here.
July 2: The Splatoon 3 + Expansion Pass bundle is now confirmed for Europe as well. It’s due out on July 25, 2024.
