Star of Providence out on Nintendo Switch this month, new trailer
Star of Providence, the second game to be published by Bigmode following Animal Well last year, just earned its release date. The company is putting it out for Nintendo Switch on February 20, 2025.
A top-down action shooter from Team D-13, Star of Providence was confirmed for Nintendo Switch release in August 2023. This is actually the first time we’ve had any sort of launch window.

Star of Providence is a top down action shooter with procedurally generated elements. Explore a progression of floors as you make your way into the depths of the facility, encountering increasingly deadly enemies, fantastic weapons, upgrades, choices and revelations as you venture deeper towards a great and calamitous power.
