Sushi Cat: Tower Defense

Sushi Cat is in the works for Nintendo Switch, it’s been revealed. The project, which comes from Armor Games Studios and OverPowered Team, does not currently have a launch window.

As the name implies, Sushi Cat: Tower Defense is a tower defense game with roguelite elements. You’ll be building, upgrading, and reshaping the battlefield each run.

This time around, Sushi Cat must defend himself from evil sushi hordes, corrupted by the wicked sorcerer cook Broccolinni. Only by eating enormous amounts of sushi will Sushi Cat be able to thwart Broccolinni’s plans to control the world!

Prepare Your Defenses

  • Deploy a variety of cat-themed towers
  • Block key routes with maze-building walls
  • Place traps to surprise and weaken enemies

Roguelite Style

  • Designed for quick runs with a single evolving level and Endless Mode
  • Draft Boon Cards that define your strategy
  • Defeat powerful boss enemies in every run
  • Unlock permanent upgrades between games

Shape the Path

  • Defend Sushi Cat from waves of sinister sushi enemies.
  • Place defenses to prevent enemies from reaching Sushi Cat. Collect sushi and keep feeding him to expand his powers.
  • Survive wave-based encounters while constructing obstacles, towers, & traps to build a winding maze for enemies to traverse through.

Unlock Talents and Bonuses

  • Upgrade your Talent Tree to unlock permanent power boosts.
  • Unlock new towers and traps to expand your defensive options.
  • Empower Sushi Cat with devastating new Ultimate abilities.
  • Collect Boon Cards that shape each run with unique effects.
