Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged

Today, Revolution Software revealed and released a brand new Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged.

Essentially a year after the game launched, there are new upgrades on the console. It features 4K resolution when docked and 1080p resolution in portable mode, along with support for mouse controls.

August 16: Revolution Software today confirmed that it’s working on a Switch version of Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged and shared a release date for the game. The title will be available for Nintendo’s console on September 19, 2024.

Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged is an updated version of the classic point-and-click adventure game. Redone graphics and enhanced audio are a couple of the highlighted features. In fact, you can easily swap between the new visuals of the original and Reforged.

Red Art Games is giving Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged a physical release on Switch, the company announced today. Boxed versions are slated for early 2025.

Broken Sword – Shadow of the Templars: Reforged, which was just confirmed for Switch a few days ago, will receive both ESRB and PEGI-rated physical versions. Fans can pick it up either standalone (sold by multiple retailers), as part of a Deluxe Edition, or a Special Edition.
