Europa update Zen Mode

Europa went live on Switch this week, which is topped off by a new Zen Mode. Switch players can access the patch via version 1.4.0.

Zen Mode is for casual players looking to explore the world without dealing with threats. Additionally, a chapter select has been added for those that beat the game once. UX improvements, tweaks, polish, and bug fixes are also included.

Here’s the full rundown of the Europa update with the new Zen Mode and more:

Europa has been given a relaese date courtesy of the Indie World Showcase. You can pick it up as of October 11, 2024.

Europa may seem familiar as it was unveiled in a previous Indie World Showcase. It was developed by former Overwatch and Diablo 3 art director Helder Pinto, a small dev team he assembled and is published by Future Friends Games (SUMMERHOUSE, Gourdlets, Exo One).

We’ve got a bunch of details in the following overview:

Europa

Europa is now in development for Switch, Future Friends Games and Helder Pinto revealed today. It launches later in 2024.

Europa is a 3D action-platformer in which players take on the role of an android Zee and use a jetpack to glide, fly, and boost across landscapes full of lakes, meadows and mountains. The adventure is set on the moon Europa, and Zee is seeking answers behind the mystery of a fallen civilization.
