The Octotune soundtrack, which includes tracks from Splatoon 2 and the Octo Expansion, sold 19,210 copies, which netted it the #7 spot on Japan’s list of best-selling albums for the week.

Splatoon 2 introduces new sub-weapon “robot bomb”

Just like the poison mist yesterday, the Splatoon Twitter account has introduced another new sub weapon in Splatoon 2 today. The “robot bomb” is a sort of walking homing missile. You throw it, and once it lands, it’ll detect the nearest enemy in a certain radius and starts walking towards them until it explodes.
One of the weapon kits that’ll have the robot bomb sub is the “Foxy”, a roller-type weapon that seems to be quite similar in appearance to the Octobrush from the first game. It will also have the Inkjet special.
Check out the robot bomb in action, as well as look at some screenshots of it and the Foxy:

ちょこちょことついてまわる姿はカワイイが、最後の爆発は……あんまりカワイクナイな。 pic.twitter.com/9URK4C5TRH— Splatoon(スプラトゥーン) (@SplatoonJP) June 6, 2017
