Taito Milestones now has a release date in the west. Based on an eShop listing and retailers, the collection is releasing on April 15, 2022.
Taito Milestones first appeared in Japan back in February. It was previously confirmed for North America and Europe, but a specific date wasn’t shared as part of the announcement.
Taito Milestones includes Qix, Space Seeker, Alpine Ski, Front Line, Wild Western, Chack’n Pop, Elevator Action, The Fairyland Story, Halley’s Comet, and The Ninja Warriors. More information about each game and the collection as a whole can be found below.
Taito’s arcade legacy began in the early 1970s, but it came into its own in the 80s. You now have the chance to play these milestone classics that paved the way for the decades of Taito’s arcade dominance which followed. • ALPINE SKI, 1982, Sports. Enter the world of snow and take part in three competitions: Downhill ski, slalom and ski jump!
