Tetris 99 announces 51st Maximus Cup with Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme

Tetris 99 is still rolling on, and it’s now been revealed that a 51st Maximus Cup is happening with Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

While it’s active, you’ll have the chance to earn a new theme. Hit 100 event points and you’ll get the new design featuring background art, music, and Tetrimino designs based on Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Note that you need to be a Nintendo Switch Online member in order to participate.

The Tetris 99 51st Maximus Cup will happen between January 8 and January 12. You can check out the official trailer below.
