The Case of the Golden Idol getting new Redux version

The team behind The Case of the Golden Idol has revealed a new Redux version that will be launching on Switch. It will be available on October 10, 2024.

If you already have the game, it will be automatically updated to the Redux edition. The original release will be removed from the eShop and replaced for new players.

As for what to expect, the game will have an overhauled UI, new hint system, support for 13 new localizations, readability and save improvements, and dozens more quality-of-life changes. There will be no major content additions.
