The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom leaks appearing online

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom releases in just under two weeks, but spoilers and other leaks of that nature are likely to start today as a ROM of the game has been leaked online.

News of this comes via Gaming Reinvented, and has been confirmed by various users on X. Spoilers and clips are likely to begin appearing online on social media as it becomes more widespread.

This is a common occurrence with Nintendo’s major first-party titles, with a similar incident happening with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom last year a couple of weeks before launch. Note that we will not be posting any unofficial content here.

It’s likely that Nintendo will once again be on the move to find out where this has originated from, and given their stance on piracy, legal action could be taken against websites and individuals who distribute the ROM of the game. In the meantime, fans hoping to go into the game unspoiled would be advised to avoid social media and other communities such as reddit in the time leading up to the game’s launch.

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will officially launch on September 26, 2024.
