The Monster Hunter Tri G localization saga continues
It’s a shame that we still don’t know if Monster Hunter Tri G is coming to North America and Europe. Even after E3 2012 passes, we might not have a concrete answer.
The latest development in the localization saga comes from Daniel Gibson, an analyst at Macquarie Capital Securities (Japan) Limited. Speaking about a possible overseas release, Gibson said that “capcom keep saying its unlikely as audience not there based on the wii game”.
Capcom’s Christian Svensson is denying anything of the sort, though. Svensson responded to Gibson’s comment by noting, “I’d like him to cite a source.”
So we’re back at square zero!
Even if Capcom didn’t have any plans to localize Monster Hunter Tri G, I wish they would just come out and confirm that already. The seemingly flip-flopping nature of the situation is really agitating.
