Top Speed is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Nintendo Switch 2, Switch

Hamster is bringing Top Speed to Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, the company confirmed today. Look for it tomorrow, February 5.

Taito originally released the title, also known as Full Throttle, in 1987. The racer features a nitro boost to spice things up a bit.

Top Speed is a racing game released by Taito in 1987. Enter high-stakes street races where speed is everything, and aim for the finish line while dodging obstacles and avoiding collisions with rival cars. Using Nitro grants you explosive acceleration. Blow past the competition, leave everyone in your dust, and show them what it means to be the best!

The Arcade Archives series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces. Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.
