Trailer leaks for unreleased LEGO James Bond game

LEGO games have explored many different properties over the years, and at one point, developer TT Games even hoped to put its own spin on the James Bond franchise.

A trailer for the pitch emerged on Reddit this week. Some confusion was going around that James Bond would have appeared as new content for LEGO Dimensions year 3, but that’s not actually the case. TT Games made the pitch in hopes of making a full game here.

Unfortunately, in the end, the project didn’t move forward. The LEGO Group ultimately vetoed the project, feeling that it wasn’t suitable to the brand.

As for how this trailer found its way online, it seems that the video was included in the data for a LEGO Dimensions build. That’s also why some assumed that James Bond would simply be appearing there rather than getting its own game, but again, that’s incorrect. Either way, it doesn’t really matter as the pitch never moved on to full production.
