Tunche gets November release date, new trailer
HypeTrain Digital and LEAP Game Studios have set a release date for Tunche, their action game with beat ’em up and roguelike mechanics. Switch owners can pick up the title starting on November 2.
Tunch was first announced for Switch in 2018. It was last planned for this past March, but that launch target wasn’t met.
As a reminder, Tunche is a hack and slash game with hand-drawn animation in which players go on an adventure through the Amazon rainforest. A total of five characters are included: Rumi the sorceress, Pancho the musician, Qaru the bird boy, Nayra the warrior, and Hat Kid from A Hat In Time.
Tunche features and roguelike elements that makes the adventure different each time. The game’s playable characters have their own unique playstyle with skills and abilities. Characters can also be upgraded with experience to learn new moves and skills. We’ll mention as well that co-op is supported, meaning it’s possible to experience the game with up to three friends locally.
Going along with today’s release date news for Tunche, we have a new trailer – view it below.
Tunche will be sold digitally for Switch via the eShop. The game’s official website can be found here.
