Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for April 2023.
This time around, the biggest story for Nintendo concerned hardware sales. PlayStation 5 took the top spot for consoles, but Switch increased by 26 percent over March and 30 percent over April 2022. The main reason? The new Zelda Switch that came out at the end of the month and comprised for 29 percent of all Switch consoles sold last month.
Software is less notable. No Switch exclusives made the top ten – not even Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
