Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for August 2024.
No Nintendo games were in the top ten for the month. However, Switch titles Hogwarts Legacy, EA Sports FC 24, and New Tales From the Borderlands did make the list.
Moving on to hardware, Switch sales fell 10 percent in August compared to July and dipped 30 percent compared to the same period last year. Nintendo’s system came in third this month behind the PS5 and Xbox Series. GamesIndustry points out that Switch and Xbox Series have been alternating their positions throughout 2024.
