Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for December 2022.
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet were both part of the top ten. Had their sales been combined, they would have placed at #3.
Other than that, there’s not much that’s overly exciting. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion saw its debut at #3. Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo Switch Sports had a strong month, coming in at #7 and #8 respectively.
Switch hardware sales were down a bit year-over-year in the UK. However, the system just managed to be the top console of the Christmas period, ahead of PS5 in second place.
