Thanks to GamesIndustry, we have new insight into the UK gaming market for January 2023.
Fire Emblem Engage was the biggest new release from Nintendo, which ended up at #12. However, it was an older game, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, that charted higher for the company at #10.
Regarding console sales, Switch was the second best-selling platform following PS5. GamesIndustry notes that sales for the consoles are slowing down in the UK. Another tidbit shared is that 61 percent of Switch sales were for the OLED model, which is a 39 percent increase year-over-year.
