Valkyrie no Densetsu is this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch

Hamster has announced Valkyrie no Densetsu to be the next game releasing on the eShop under the Arcade Archives label. Here is some more information about the game courtesy of the International Arcade Museum.
Valkyrie no Densetsu was originally developed and released by Namco in 1989. The game is an action-adventure RPG in which you control the titular warrior maiden Valkyrie on a quest to save the land. Gameplay-wise, you explore several levels from a top-down perspective, collecting items and gold while defeating enemies with your various weapons and magic spells. It is a single player game, but does feature a co-op mode in which the second player controls a green lizard-like character with similar abilities to Valkyrie.
Arcade Archives Valkyrie no Densetsu will release digitally on Switch tomorrow, April 14. It will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.
