Vtuber band visual novel Melon Parker: Kimi ga Nandemo Bu no Buchou-san announced for Nintendo Switch
Cyberstep and Rabbitfoot have announced Melon Parker: Kimi ga Nandemo Bu no Buchou-san. The title will receive a physical release in Japan, and launch on November 27, 2025 with English support.
Melon Parker: Kimi ga Nandemo Bu no Buchou-san is a visual novel based on the Japanese music Vtuber group Meropaka. Each individual member is a character in the game, and each character is fully voiced by their respective member.
Here’s an overview of the story:
You and your five childhood friends—Naroya, Samurai Sho, Soraneko, KAITO, and kamome—are members of the “Everything Club” at Melon Pan Private High School.
While cheerfully resolving the incidents that arise at school and enjoying everyday life, you suddenly find yourselves performing at a music festival!?
Can the “Everything Club” succeed in pulling off a big event like a music festival stage?
And where will your coming-of-age story with your five childhood friends lead…?
Japan will be receiving a standard physical edition, as well as a special collectors edition. The collectors edition is to include special packaging, an acrylic panel with illustrations from the game, an artwork collection, a CD holding the game’s theme song, a special envelope ticket holder, voice messages from the band members, digital illustrations, wallpapers for PC and smartphones, and of course a standard copy of the game.
