The big question stemming from the just-released Pokemon Sun/Moon trailer concerns the character above. Who is he? If anything, he seems to be a part of the Oak family, as the name shown is the same as Professor Oak’s Japanese name. It surely can’t be Professor Oak, right? Perhaps some sort of relative?
