World of Goo 2 Switch physical release confirmed

World of Goo 2 is initially launching today, but it’s just been announced that a physical release is happening as well. Fireshine Games will be distributing the title starting on October 29, 2024, and pre-orders should be opening at retailers very soon.

Here’s some information about the game:

Build bridges, grow towers, terraform terrain, and fuel flying machines in the stunning follow-up to the multi-award winning World of Goo. Discover new species of Goo, including Jelly Goo, Growing Goo, Shrinking Goo, and more, in a thrilling new story bursting with over 60 levels.

Use the Goo to solve puzzles and watch the world change over a story spanning hundreds of thousands of years, while guiding as many Goo Balls as you can into each level’s exit pipe – but what waits for them on the other side…?
