World of Tanks Blitz announced for Switch, out today with cross-save and cross-progression
Wargaming is today announcing that the studio has been working on a Switch version of the free-to-play team-based mobile MMO game World of Tank Blitz. You won’t need to wait long to play it, as it’s out today on the eShop.
World of Tank Blitz supports cross-play on Switch. Additionally, those that have been playing the game on existing Wargaming.net accounts can carry over their progress.

Wargaming is pleased to announce that World of Tanks Blitz, its free-to-play team-based mobile MMO game, is available today for the Nintendo Switch. Wargaming’s first ever partnership with Nintendo brings the World of Tanks franchise to Nintendo Switch players and tank fans everywhere.

Boasting more than 137 million downloads globally, World of Tanks Blitz brings its fierce team-based mobile tank combat to Nintendo Switch, while delivering full cross-play support across all available platforms. Cross-play matches take place on the same server, allowing new players to fight side-by-side or compete against the game’s huge community.
Players battling on existing Wargaming.net accounts can bring their full World of Tanks Blitz accounts to Nintendo Switch and retain any progress they have earned.
To stand out on the battlefield, all Nintendo Switch players will be given an exclusive avatar and gifted 1000 gold, three-days access to a premium account, and a Tier II American Medium Tank (available in the in-game shop until September 9).
World of Tanks Blitz does not require Nintendo Switch Online membership to download and play.
World of Tanks Blitz is being distributed today for Switch via the eShop.
