If a new datamine is anything to go by, WWE 2K25 could support custom music on Nintendo Switch 2.

WWE 2K25 originally launched in March. Sangral, who is involved with the modding scene, recently dug through the code following the release of the latest PC patch and found an interesting line. Though the game isn’t available on Nintendo’s new console just yet, the following was discovered: “If you have music stored on your Nintendo Switch 2 console, you can use these tracks for the entry soundtrack”.

Fans area already running wild about what this could mean even though nothing has been officially announced. Some are even speculating that Nintendo Music will come into play in some form.

Meanwhile, outside of this development, a Nintendo platform will finally be getting a fully competent WWE game for the first time in many years. The series did appear on Nintendo Switch with WWE 2K18, but it was a severely compromised port – and arguably a technical disaster – due to bugs, poor performance, and visual downgrades.

2K hasn’t shared any news about WWE 2K on Nintendo Switch 2 aside from the initial announcement in early April. We’ll hopefully be hearing more soon, however.
