WWE 2K25 on Nintendo Switch 2 cuts a key feature
WWE 2K25 has landed on Nintendo Switch 2, and while thus far it seems to be a pretty solid port, there is one key feature missing.
In a press release, 2K says that this version is not compatible with cross-platform Community Creations. The image uploader is also not supported.
Both of these elements can be found on every other platform. However, Nintendo Switch 2 owners are missing out on things like custom arenas and CAWs (Create-A-Wrestler).
Right now it’s unclear why 2K scrapped Community Creations and the image uploader on Nintendo Switch 2. We can’t imagine it’s a technical constraint as the functionality is even included on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Did 2K simply not want to make it compatible? We’d be surprised if Nintendo stepping is is the reason since the company was fine with community creations for WWE 2K18 on Nintendo Switch 1. Right now we can only guess.
WWE 2K25 is out now, and we have both the launch trailer here and lots of gameplay here. There’s also more Nintendo Switch 2 news to be found here.
