You can use My Nintendo Gold Points to purchase a Nintendo Switch Online membership

The Nintendo Switch Online service starts this week. As it turns out, you can actually pay the initial fee using My Nintedo Gold Points, as an FAQ on Nintendo’s website reveals:

Can I use My Nintendo Gold Points to purchase the Nintendo Switch Online membership?

Gold Points can be used when purchasing a membership in the Nintendo eShop. They cannot be used for auto-renewal.
