Young Souls delayed to Q1 2022
Young Souls has been delayed, with the game missing out on its original Fall 2021 release window. The title is now planned for a Q1 2022 release.
On Twitter, publisher The Arcade Crew explained that it would have been unable to meet the original launch target “without compromising our human work ethics and game quality.” You can read the full statement regarding the delay for Young Souls below.
Months ago, with 1p2p Studio, we finally gave you a release window and a demo.
Today, we can’t confirm that window without compromising our human work ethics and game quality.
So, we have made the difficult decision to postpone Young Souls to Q1 2022.
Young Souls was confirmed for Switch back in August of this year. The 2D brawler, which also features story-rich action RPG gameplay, has players taking on hordes of belligerent goblins, leveling up with hundreds of weapons and accessories, exploring, and journeying between worlds. All of the action follows twins who are looking to save their foster father.
Young Souls will be distributed as a digital title on Switch at launch, and we’ll keep you updated on release timing. More information is located on the official website here.
