Zapdos location guide in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Today, we’re once again continuing our coverage of Legendary Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet with a Zapdos location guide. There are tons of returning Legendary Pokemon available in this game, and they’re all unlocked once you clear the main story of the Indigo Disk DLC.
Once you’ve done that, an NPC named Snacksworth will appear out front of Blueberry Academy. This character gives you snacks that attract certain Legendary Pokemon to specific places in Paldea. Every time you clear 10 Solo Quests or 1 Group Quest, you’ll earn one random Legendary snack. If you’re specifically hunting for Zapdos, you’ll need to keep clearing quests over and over again until you happen to receive the snack you’re looking for.
Zapdos location guide
Once you’ve received the Zapdos snack, your Zapdos location in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet spawns in the area shown above. It’s on the south end of Paldea, on top of the lighthouse in this area. Just like every other Legendary Pokemon in the Indigo Disk, Zapdos appears at Level 70 – be prepared! It knows Thunder, Detect, and Zap Cannon, so it’s very capable of dealing high damage and paralyzing your Pokemon. We’d recommend bringing an Electric-type Pokemon of your own to avoid paralysis. Since Zapdos is immune to Thunder Wave, you might also want to bring a Pokemon like Breloom who can reliably put it to sleep with Spore. Gallade with Hypnosis works decently well here, too. And if you’re looking to catch Zapdos in a matching Poke Ball, an Ultra Ball matches its colors great!
