Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Official Soundtrack releasing in Japan
May 6: Nintendo Everything reader 3112 3112 has tipped us off about an official soundtrack release for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Based on leaked information, the album will be available in Japan at the end of July. Fans will be able to pick it up as either a standard version or limited edition. Japanese record label Columbia will be publishing.
Nintendo is expected to make an official announcement to coincide with the game’s one-year anniversary on May 12, and we should get further details then such as what’s in the limited edition. As you may remember, something similar happened with the announcement of the soundtrack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild in 2018 for its first anniversary as well.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is currently available on Switch. We’ll update this post when more information is shared about the soundtrack.
May 10: The soundtrack has now been officially announced, and it launches on July 31, 2024 in Japan.
The limited edition includes a three-sided luxury box, a USB drive shaped like the Master Sword, loaded with high-res version of 15 music tracks. It comes with a stand (the Master Sword’s pedestal), allowing you to display it when you’re not using the USB drive. Note that both soundtracks feature 344 tracks across 9 CDs.
