Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is native 720p at 60 FPS, upscaled to 1080p

Just in case you were wondering, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze doesn’t run naturally at 1080p. Nintendo has clarified that the game is native 720p (at 60 frames per second by the way), though is upscaled to the higher resolution.

This probably won’t end up being a big deal for most players, but is worth mentioning in any case.
