First LUNAXXX footage, details
At BitSummit this weekend, Pygmy Studio and original Chibi-Robo director Kenichi Nishi are showing off a new Switch project tentatively known as LUNAXXX. Footage and details are now in – at least of the prototype version.
LUNAXXX features a character that has already appeared in a mobile title. In that game, civilization has been destroyed and is buried underground. This new Switch project acts like a prequel and the goal is to save as many people as possible by fishing.
With multiplayer, you’ll need to balance and rotate the Joy-Con and collaborate with the person you’re playing with. But if you hit the wall, animals will fall off of your fishing pole. Wind will also get in the way so you’ll have to fight against it.
It sounds like the goal is to have LUNAXXX ready this year. During development, additional stages will be added.
We’ve included some direct-feed footage of LUNAXXX below. We’ve also included a clip that shows off how the Joy-Con is used.
