The only surprise here is that it is also releasing for PS4 :v

    • Inazuma Eleven has never be on PlayStation and Level-5 barely make games for PlayStation.

    • Aline Piroutek

      WHAT??

      • Paddy Alfan

        Because stone cold said so.

      • Tlozbj

That it waa obvious it was going to release for Switch and something for mobiles. The only surprising thing is thay for some reason it is also coming to PS4, the other was obvious

  • I’ve been saying this since this game was first announced.

  • Tsurugi

sorry to ask but I also be for ps4? Because for iOS and android is the app not the game… OMG I cant believe , Im so happy right now =)

They need to quickly bring the anime over to American TV and some how get caught up.

    • Fernando Garcia

I don’t think so, U.S. Soccer has been setback for at least four years.

      • melvin2898

What do you mean? I just want the anime. I’m not worried about real soccer.

  • Paddy Alfan

Messi git nothing next to these guys!

  • Aline Piroutek

Level 5 guys, please put the English language on the game. So no need to localize overseas, we only need to acess the Japanese eShop do get it.

    • Riku0493

But… That would be localization in itself.

      • Aline Piroutek

Except the fact of needing to be rated by local Rating like ESRB and PEGI.
        And a lot of burocracy.

        • Riku0493

A game will not include language options outside of the developer’s home country if they had no plans to localize it. It is just a waste of time and effort. So if there IS an English language option for some reason, the game is coming to an English language country.

          • Aline Piroutek

            English DLC for japanese release

  • Aline Piroutek

We all do know what platafform this third party title will sell better

    • Aline Piroutek

      Excluding mobile cellphone devices

  • CynicalAtheist

I hope Atlus buys the rights for EyeShield21, Konami inst doing crap with it and it is just like Inazuma except with football.

    • Aline Piroutek

Konami did a new game of Eyeshield 21? I only remember the DS GBA and Wii ones

      • CynicalAtheist

I think PSP called portable edition. I have been waiting years for them to localize this, I thought that if they saw the success of Inazuma around the world and US then a football version would definitely hit in the US but no such luck.

  • Aline Piroutek

So they killed 3DS. To make an all HD Inazuma game.

    • Reggie

‘Killed 3DS’? A lot of devs are moving on. It was bound to happen.

      • Aline Piroutek

Yeah, “killed” is a stong word indeed.
        Sony killed Vita though.

  • Stuart

Great, but localize for crying out loud.

    • Aline Piroutek

Or offer a english text as an option like Bravely Default(Jp) did. So no need to bring the game overseas, people just need to buy on the japanese store.
No need to ESRB rate it, neither the european ones.

      • Froot

That is still localization. The problem is not to bring the game, it’s the translation. (this japanese devs are quite dumb on that term.. instead of translating since the pre-production, they just leave the translation after the launch..)

  • This is great news. I hope a western release is in the pipeline

  • GoldenTriforce

Why PS4? I’m not complaining but that seems odd for a handheld series.

    • GoldenTriforce

I don’t have an issue with it but it is a really weird choice.

Switch version will sell better but that is a different matter.

      • Froot

Almost 6 million PS4 consoles there if I’m not mistaken. They need to reach the max. audience possible. So probably they will launch it just for this one and if sells they will launch more.

        • GoldenTriforce

6 million over 3 + years with a pretty low software attach rate. PS4 is fairing far better in the west over Japan, as with every other system incapable of portability.

  • GoldenTriforce

Honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Nintendo does Switch exclusivity in the West since they published prior titles in Europe.

  • PRIMUS

The Switch is out here getting games with the PS4 and Xbox is forgotten lol.

  • PRIMUS

Another Multiplat for the Switch. A really good one for that matter.

  • R.Z.

Even anime can’t make football appealing to me …
    :-/

  • Snackster1001

I called this a while ago, but still nice to see

  • MoYeung

PS4, iOS and Android… In addition to Switch

  • Froot

It’s probably on the PS4 because they have a big part of the japanese market and by not releasing this on 3DS anymore that means they need to reach the max. audience possible, sadly the Switch isn’t there yet.
