Wow, none third party support on the west. I guess western are #TeamSwitch by now

Look again. They DO have third party support in the West. Look at DOOM (Nintendo published [RUMOR]), WWE 2K18, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Nintendo published), Resident Evil Revelations 1 & 2, Farming Sim: Nintendo Switch Edition, RiME, Rocket League, LA Noire, Sonic Forces, Batman: The Telltale Series, Just Dance 2018, MONOPOLY for Nintendo Switch, Tiny Metal (Unties/Sony Music), and LEGO MARVEL Super Heroes 2.

Aline Piroutek was referring to there being no upcoming 3rd party support for the 3DS in the west, thus the hashtag.

Wonder why Builders is being “published” by Nintendo in the west.

I guess Nintendo must really like Dragon Quest, they’re the only publisher in the west willing to distribute in the West outside of SE.

I think they did that for the Monster Hunter games too or at least handled the localization for it themselves. Also Mega Man 6 on the NES!

Oh yeah Nintendo distributes a lot of SE games, I would argue they are the sole reason we got Dragon Quest games in the west in the first place, but it’s odd that they’d do that for a multiplat.

Because SE wouldn’t unless someone else does it for them, thereby taking the risks. I can partially understand why SE are like that, since Dragon Quest is hardly known in the west and still a niche series. It doesn’t quite have the same brand power push that Final Fantasy does.

All the more respect to Nintendo, then.

Didn’t actually think FE could come next year but i guess they’re pretty confident.
