Pokemon Bank doesn’t stop hacked Pokemon

Pokemon Bank is allowing for hacked Pokemon, despite what had been originally expected. Long story short, illegal Pokemon – creatures that can’t exist naturally – are finding their way into the app. Now the question is whether Nintendo and Game Freak intend to address this in the future, or if things will stay as is.

Pokebank (mostly) isn’t letting pokemon with illegal moves and abilities in, but it doesn’t check stats and levels so people can still smuggle in illegal pokemon if they look legit.

It does check stats, but as long as the hacked pokemon looks legit it will go through.
Still sucks that it’s possible, but it’s inevitable since the data structure in a well done hacked mon is indistinguishable from a legit one.
