Long story short: This should be the original Sun and Moon games, the ones from 2016 were a paid beta.

Long story short, this is the deluxe edition just like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum.

False, none of the previous “3rd” versions had more pokemon introduced mid gen, almost entirely a new story and more areas. The games closest to what I just described were B2/W2

But B2/W2 at had a ~2 year gap from the prequel games. USun/UMoon barely have one. You’d be very hard pressed to make the case that the original s/m weren’t a paid beta or at least rushed in a way. This can be seen by certain areas in Alola being inaccessible, like the golf course area, and the buildings that were still under construction(which turned out to be those photo house things)
Previous “3rd” versions never did this

Those games gave you the chance to capture all the current gen Pokemon, this makes you choose like the regular versions this is not a third version like those you mention, this is a glorified DLC and you are sending GF the wrong message.

            Why he deleted his comment?

All I want to know is are there really new pokemon in these games or not? I’m confused because they said they will have 100 new pokemon but didn’t show a single one which never happened before. or maybe these “new” pokemon are just new alola forms and old pokemon from old regions but they weren’t featured in S/M so technically they are new to the alola region??

    • Carlos

There are a few new Ultra Beasts and forms for Necrozma but that’s it. No new Pokemon. They did bring more Pokemon that weren’t around in Alola to the region though.

      • GMB

I thought so. So them saying they will have 100 entirely new pokemon was just bs.

        • ArtBats

Where did you see that in official capacity? I’ve only ever seen that as a rumor.

        • RoadyMike

Other than the new ultra beasts and Necrozma forms, there was at least 1 new pokemon in these games. I quickly looked away because spoilers(f#k youtube having spoilers in the thumbnails man..) but I remember that it was yellow and it evolved into some kind of dragon/bird thing. It didn’t look like any pokemon I’d seen before and I highly doubt it was fake

        • Carlos

There’s actually 1 new mythical pokemon also.

      • Velen (Not WoW)

Wrong. Leaks showed there’s a new, non-Ultra Beast pokemon.

      • Princess_Eevee9

New Ultra Beasts count as new Pokémon.

  • Acantus

Last games on 3DS/2DS, already pre-ordered and hyped for the story. Can’t wait!

I’ll probably grab it after Christmas.

  • Buen puntaje para un dlc.

“Immediately, Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon pleased me with small changes, like a more brightly colored UI with a quick way to save, and also gratefully took away some of the slow dialogue that Sun and Moon suffered from in the first few sequences. I met and battled with starter Pokemon noticeably faster than I had in Sun and Moon, and was on my way to explore the markedly more colorful Melemele Island in no time at all.”

This actually got me excited. Sun/Moon is way to slow for my taste, if USUM fixes that, I can see myself getting it.

Expected but eh for people who can’t think for themselves I suppose you need others to tell you what to buy. I knew that from the start this was the game Alola should’ve started with and the originals were extremely gimped. You can obviously see it in-game but also through the development of Pokémon UltraSun & Pokémon UltraMoon. 2 More days of hype intensifies!

Nothing wrong with a buyers guide, especially with how companies like to mess things up these days.
