Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura out in Japan on November 24th

Posted on November 20, 2017 by (@OnePunchMaz) in News, Switch eShop

We knew that Shinobi Refle: Senran Kagura was due to be released sometime this year, but it turns out it’s actually quite soon – the game will be released this Friday, on November 24th. It will be an eShop-exclusive title. Since the Switch is region-free, you will be able to easily download it by accessing the Japanese eShop. Note that the game has received a Cero D rating in Japan, which means it’s an 18+ / adults-only game.

LOL.. you were so excited to type this that you made all them typos. My British credit card works fine.. but I live in Japan.. don’t know if I ever gave my house address..

Bro, this is perfect. Cheap, waifu switch game with a bunch of hd rumble features. Even if the actual game is terrible. It is pretty fun to have on the system and have a laugh with friends.

Battlechef and steamworld dig 2 this week as well… I might get this just for a lol… but god knows where I will play it.

Only Visa/MC work, but like ben, I also live in Japan so can’t give you an accurate answer. However, my MasterCard is from my US bank account and it works fine. Hope that helps.

Where you at lordDisco? I am in the sticks South of Osaka.

        • LordDisco

I live in west Tokyo. It’s still city, but not remotely as busy as downtown. haha. It’s nice. 30 minutes west by train is nature and great camping/climbing, and 30 minutes east is downtown Tokyo (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Harajuku, etc).

Rent is still kind of expensive, but manageable. haha

I heard you need to buy e-shop cards from because foreign cards don’t work.
Maybe has it changed since the console’s launch though ?

  • ben

I mean… part of me wants to buy this just to see what the hell it is… another part of me knows that buying this would probably get me divorced.

Besides the 18 plus thing, do we know what the game is about?

    • ben

massaging high school girl with huge boobs.

    • Molestation Simulator 2017

Things an adult would probably get at least a restraining order for IRL.

  • JasonBall

I don’t suppose they can promote it’s gameplay. Which is what exactly?

    • Ghirahim

      Waifu simulator.

    • ben

I think it is like the Fates face massage thing with.. more to massage…

  • anyone know if it will have english support at release?

  • Shadow Haken

If they bring it over, will buy…Although I think it would have been a sweeter deal if they have put both this and the pinball one in a single package.

Considering that only the iOS version has never been localized; I wouldn’t be surprised.

  • Aline Piroutek

I thing this game is going to flop. I think. Looks like it is very limited.

  • Suraimu

CERO D is 17 and up
    CERO Z is adults only
If it was Z I doubt they could sell it on the eshop

    • Douglas Siano

Wasn’t “Zero Time Dilemma” Cero Z?

    • Gregory Weagle

The only difference between a CERO D and a CERO Z is that one is basically “kids cannot buy without their parents permission” and CERO Z is basically “kids cannot buy it or play it” period.

I don’t know what Nintendo’s policy is with the eShop in Japan concerning CERO Z games; but I do know Nintendo allows CERO Z games in retail form on their systems.

  • Reggie

Friday is when I look this up on Youtube just to see what the heck it is. =P

  • Gregory Weagle

Just like that! After months of wondering if this game even had a release date; they announce a release date before the end of 2017.

  • Waldo

Are they planning to localize this? if not, I’ll buy the JP ver.

    • Symbol de Au

I don’t think anything has been announced yet.
