Video: Enter the Gungeon updated weapon is a Metroid homage

Enter the Gungeon is soon receiving a major Advanced Gungeons & Draguns update. With it, Dodge Roll will be introducing a bunch of updated content, along with updated weapons and more.

Here’s a look at one of those updated weapons, which pays tribute to Metroid:

The Heroine is the weapon being showcased here. Although it was present in Enter the Gungeon previously, it lacked the Plasma Beam, Wave Beam, and Ice Beam. As we all know, those are all signature aspects of Metroid.
