Dragon Quest Builders 2 demo in the works, new footage
A demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 was announced during a presentation for the game in Japan today. While there’s no word yet on a release date, it should be available sometime before the December 20 launch.
Square Enix is currently concentrating on finishing the main game. After that, the team will move forward on the demo’s development.
Today’s presentation provided a first look at Occulm Island, which you can see in the video below. This area was previously prosperous thanks to a gold rush, but has since become a desolate desert. It also has huge ruins and an underground lake below its grounds.
These are some of the residents of Occulm Island:
– Pero: bar show girl; wants to see the mines and bar reconstructed
– Carlo: former blacksmith who stopped working due to the Hargon Order
– Massimo: man who is good at mining, but bad at fighting monsters
