Arcade Archives Pac-Man / Xevious / Typhoon Gal gameplay
Switch has gained three different Arcade Archives games over the past week with Pac-Man, Xevious, and Typhoon Gal. Famitsu held a live stream this week to show off the full set.
Below are overviews for the different games:
Pac-Man
Pac-Man is an action game released by Namco in 1980. Players clear stages by eating all “Pac-Dots” in each round without getting caught by any of the four “ghosts”, each with its own personality. Eating “Power Pellets” will let you attack the ghosts, so time them carefully!
Xevious
Xevious is a shooter released by Namco in 1982. Players pilot the Solvalou and face off with the Xevious forces. Defeat airborne enemies with the zapper, and terrestrial enemies with the blaster. This game also features 26 character types with their own codenames.
Typhoon Gal
Typhoon Gal is an action game released by Taito in 1985. Players control martial-arts challenger Yuki as she faces off with the toughest opponents at rival martial arts schools. Yuki can use both major and minor techniques. Weaken enemies with minor techniques, then take them down with a single major technique!
