Fast-paced party game Move or Die: Unleashed heading to Switch next month

Those Awesome Guys announced this week that Move or Die: Unleashed, its fast-paced party game, will be reaching Switch next month. A release is scheduled for March 10, 2022.

Move or Die has been around for a few years now. For the new Unleashed version on Switch though, the game will include several years of content sourced from over 30 seasonal and thematic updates published since the initial release. It will also include special crossover content like characters from Rick and Morty, Shovel Knight, and Shotgun Farmers, in addition to an extensive collection of over the top game modes and mutators inspired by mechanics from other indie classics such as Superhot, Heavy Bullets, and What The Golf.

Move or Die is not just the name of the game, but a core gameplay tenant: stand still, lose health. Up to four players will do battle across an ever-growing list of mini-game modes that switch every 20-30 seconds.

Each challenge has its own outrageous level design and rule set to promote hours of laughter and good old friendship-destroying fun. Win battles to unlock insane new character skins, mutator modifiers that dramatically change how mini-games are played, and even crazier game modes. When gamers are done demolishing their friends on the couch, they can jump online and challenge other players all over to see who will rage-quit first.

Move or Die: Unleashed will cost $14.99 on the Switch eShop. For those that plan on buying the game, a 20 percent launch discount is planned.
