Kirby and the Forgotten Land has highest sell-through for any entry in the series to date

According to Nintendo, Kirby and the Forgotten Land has experienced the highest sell-through for any entry in the series to date.

That information comes from the company’s latest financial report. In its first 15 weeks, the game sold 4.53 million copies on Switch.

Despite being on the market for just a few months, Kirby and the Forgotten Land is already set to become the best-selling game in the franchise. There’s just one title left on the list to surpass. Kirby’s Dream Land has total sales of 5.13 million, which Kirby and the Forgotten Land should outpace in due time.

In the graph above, Nintendo highlighted how much the Switch game has performed in comparison to a couple of other notable entries in the series, Kirby Triple Deluxe and Kirby Star Allies. In the case of Kirby and the Forgotten Land, it more than doubled the sales of those other games in their first 15 weeks.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land first released on Switch in March 2022.
