Pokemon GO details 2022 Winter Holiday Part 2 event

Pokemon GO recently held the first portion of its 2022 Winter Holiday event, and Part 2 is just on the horizon. There aren’t any brand new Pokemon being added, but there are a few things planned.

Here’s a quick rundown:

• Pokémon Debuts 
  • Pokémon wearing holiday hats: Eevee*, Vaporeon^, Jolteon^, Flareon^, Espeon^, Umbreon^, Leafeon, Glaceon^, Sylveon^ 
  • Beartic wearing a holiday ribbon
• Event bonuses
• Encounters, 7 km Eggs, Raids, Field Research and More – Including Pikachu wearing a Winter Carnival outfit*
• Timed Research
  • For US$5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), Trainers can purchase a ticket that grants access to Timed Research featuring an event-themed avatar pose, Incense, Abomasnow Mega Energy and various event-themed Pokémon encounters.

Special Events

• Winter Wonderland Event (Saturday, December 24, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. to Sunday, December 25, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. local time.)
• Hisuian Avalugg Raid Day (Saturday, December 24, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time)

 

*If Trainers are lucky, they might encounter a Shiny Pokémon.

^ The only way to obtain these Pokémon wearing holiday hats is by evolving Eevee wearing a holiday hat.
