Pokemon GO Twinkling Fantasy event to add Mega Salamence

Pokemon GO has a new event in store known as the Twinkling Fantasy, which will introduce Mega Salamence in Mega Raids. This will be happening between Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at 8 AM to Monday, January 16, 2023, at 10 PM local time.

• Pokemon Debuts – Mega Salamence will make its Pokémon GO debut in Mega Raids.
• Encounters, Field Research, Raids and more – If Trainers are lucky, a Shiny Dedenne.
• Collection Challenge – Complete the event themed challenge to receive 50 Salamence Mega Energy, a Charged TM, and an Elite TM.

Event bonuses are also planned. These include 2x XP for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws. Also, you’ll get more Candy for successfully catching creatures with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws. Finally, there’ll be an increased chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL for successfully catching Pokemon with Nice Throws, Great Throws, and Excellent Throws.
