Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions delayed to holiday on Switch, new trailer, no microtransations
Warner Bros. Games shared the latest on Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions today, including news about a delay for the Switch version, a new trailer, and confirmation of no microtransactions.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will now be launching on Switch this holiday. Previously, it was slated for September 3 alongside the other versions.
Warner Bros. also put out a new “Welcome Students” pre-order trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. The video highlights the single-player Career Mode and Online Competitive Mode as offers a sneak peek at the character creator and a few of the iconic playable characters, such as Ron Weasley and Draco Malfoy. Fans are also treated to a glimpse of the Quidditch World Cup Stadium, as well as some of the magical arenas set in iconic wizarding world locations.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be sold standalone and as a DEluxe Edition. Once again, there’ll be no microtransactions.
The Deluxe Edition includes the base game as well as the Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Gryffindor House Packs and 2,000 gold to spend in-game. Note that gold is only earned through gameplay progression.
