Blade Chimera delayed

Playism and WSS Playground announced today that they’re delaying the upcoming launch of Blade Chimera. No new release date was provided.

Blade Chimera was announced for Switch last November. Then in May, the game secured an August release window. Now the team will be using the extra time for further polish and quality improvements.

Below is an overview of the game:

Use the Lumina Sword—the transformed Lumina demon Lux – and its power to interfere with the past to repair damaged platforms and stairs to venture into dangerous dungeons.

In the year 20XX, cities were suddenly flooded with demons in the form of monsters and spirits that suddenly appeared in the city, sparking an all-out Demon War.

Even now, more than 30 years later, demons still roam the streets and harm humans wherever they go.

The protagonist is a member of the Missa Association, a group in charge of protecting cities from demon attacks. One day, he receives an order from the Association and sets out to hunt demons as usual, but…

In this exploration-heavy 2D action game, use your demon sword to interfere with the past, create platforms, and shield yourself from danger to explore. Upon levelling up, you will receive points that can be spent on unlocking skills that will aid you on your journey. Feast your eyes on a dystopian cyberpunk world depicted in gorgeous pixel art, meticulously animated by the skilled artists of Team Ladybug.
