Nintendo million sellers – August 2024 – Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD make the list

Thanks to Nintendo’s latest financial results, we have an updated list of million sellers on Switch. This is based on data through June 30, 2024.

A couple of new games appear on the list as part of Nintendo’s latest financial results. Both Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD have surpassed the million seller mark.

Here is the full lineup of Nintendo million sellers on Switch for August 2024:

• Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 62.90 million units
• Animal Crossing: New Horizons – 45.85 million units
• Super Smash Bros. Ultimate – 34.66 million units
• Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 32.05 million units
• Super Mario Odyssey – 28.21 million units
• Pokémon Sword / Shield – 26.35 million units
• Pokémon Scarlet / Violet – 25.29 million units
• Super Mario Party – 20.84 million units
• Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – 20.80 million units
• New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe – 17.61 million units
• Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door – 1.76 million units
• Princess Peach: Showtime – 1.30 million units
• Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – 1.19 million units

Note that the data Nintendo provides isn’t comprehensive. Some games that already the million mark are not included. Nintendo tends to showcase games that sold the most alongside newer entries.
