Punch Club 2: Fast Forward update out now (version 1.0.6), patch notes

Punch Club 2: Fast Forward has been given a new update with version 1.0.6.

This patch is mainly about some helpful quality of life improvements and bug fixes. Now players will have the option to start out at the beginning of the Iron Fist DLC and skip the Silvers League.

Here’s the full rundown of the update:

Main Game Update:

• There will be a new option when you choose to start a new game – “Skip Beginning” will skip Silvers League and start you out in the game at the beginning of the Iron Fist DLC. Don’t worry! You’ll be appropriately leveled for the stage of the game, and will be able to customize your fighter’s stats and moves etc. with 2000GPP to spend as you choose.
• As well, when you approach the final stage of the game, a new window will appear warning you: “The final stage of the game is starting now. All side quests will become unavailable. Are you sure you want to continue?” with options to select Yes or No.

DLC Save Management Improvements:

• Loading saves with the DLC after the Final Stage has started:
  • If you have the DLC and try to load a save where the DLC cannot be started, a new window will appear with the following options:
    • Load Save Anyway
    • Cancel
    • Start a New Game (DLC-Ready New Game): This option skips the progression to the Chapter “Big Enough” (after completing Silver’s League).
• Loading saves with DLC active after the Final Stage has begun:
  • If you try to load a save file where the DLC is already started but can’t be finished due to the final stage of the game already beginning, you will see a similar window with the same buttons but slightly different text.

Bug Fixes

• Shortened the description of “Lock-on Guidance” in German (“Zielhilfe”).
• Fixed the perk “Self-Repair System” for the Final Boss.
• Fixed the attack abilities for “Apu Slime Warchief”.
• Fixed the dialogue bubbles bug in the final cut-scene.
• Fixed the bug with swapping skill sets in custom ladders.
• Fixed the passive HP restoration bug in custom leagues.
