Nintendo Switch Online adds Zelda: Link’s Awakening icons

Starting today, if you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, you can redeem new icons based on The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

There are a total of five icons available. Each one is a character and costs 10 Platinum Points on My Nintendo in order to redeem.

Also, keep in mind that before anything else, you’ll need to have played the game. After booting up Zelda: Link’s Awakening in the Game Boy Nintendo Switch Online app, the designs will be unlocked. The good news is that Nintendo will give you 50 Platinum Points just for starting the game, so the icons essentially don’t cost anything.

Nintendo will be offering the new Zelda: Link’s Awakening icons until September 30, 2024. As usual, we should see a new retro game being featured in October – stay tuned for news on that front.
